A ton of new players who don't keep that kind of money offshore particapted in this and ALOT of players didn't hedge because that would have involed throwing around another $500 or so dollars on this. So that meant alot of Pittsburgh backers.
Couldn't you sense the electricity on this forum after the game last nite? If Pittsburgh loses there wouldn't have been near the excitement/buzz over this whole freeplay as there is now.
If anything all this freeplay did was take alot of average Joe's, when it comes to betting offshores and won over some trust for the industry. This industry is not thought of as safe as most of the posters on here think and all this promotion did was prove to alot of players sitting on the fence how easy the whole betting expierence can be.
I don't think nowhere near the good feelings would have been felt if Pittsburgh loses. Kind of reminds me of when you take a buddy to the track for the first time and it seems like they always win, it is like the gambling gods do this to help lure them in.
