Remember when CBS was pressured to not air the Reagan movie over Ronnie's supposed line about AIDS patients? How about when Nightline was threatened with boycotts and sponsor drops over reading the names of our fallen in Iraq/Afghanistan. How about the lawsuits against airing F911 in the weeks before the election because they claimed it was essentially a political ad.

Not a peep about freedom of speech from folks like Pat Patriot. Instead, a seemingly adult person resorts to childish cursing and inflamatory comparisons to the Soviets etc.

Now when the shoe is on the other foot, suddenly Bushbots have become champions of the first amendment. No different than when the ACLU defended Rush Limbaugh or Oliver North -- they only like the rights afforded to us all, when it applies to "their own"

ABC should be free to air this. If it's based entirely on verifiable facts, then they should say so. If they are improvising a lot (as Harvey Keitel has stated) then they should inform us as well.

Regardless of whether they put a disclaimer on it saying some events are improvised, there will be some (the prisonplanet crowd) who think it's entirely false, and the FoxNews types who will believe whatever they are told regardless of actual facts.

All it shows to me hiowever is that it's not just those in Washington that are political whores -- some top notch politcal bottoms exist right here.

Hypocrites on both sides -- this mini-series or whatever just shines a spotlight on it during another election season.

ABC, from what I can gather, will be using absurd hyperboles for shock value and ratings in support of their liberal agenda. This not be good in my opinion. In fact, it is wrong and bad. Shame on them.

I have always maintained that it takes VERY LOW self-esteem to become someone's bitch and stick up for someone even when they make a mistake - and when I say this, I am talking about Bubba's bitches who stick up his Monica episode and Bushie's bitches who stick up for all the mistakes he has made. They don't fight for ideals - they fight for PEOPLE - and the people they choose to fight for are simply scumbags.

If any politician fucks up, they don't let the scumbag politician take the shaft ... for some reason they feel it is their duty as the loyal bitch to stick out their ass and take it.

Just about every elected official in the Democratic Party is up in arms, every Leftie leader, every Leftie special interest group, it's amusing really and there is absolutely no comparison to the RR movie. The level of protest and the power of people protesting are worlds apart. There were no significant threats from elected officials for RR.

Yeah, there is loads of hypocrisy on this issue, the scale is leaning Left.

The Left has been blaming Bush for everything. They can't possibly accept a movie that shows Americans this stuff started in the 90's and was largely ignored. Imagine that? Americans realizing Democrats were there too! Wow, two plus years of their blame game and rewriting history and running from their own documented positions blown away in 72 hours.

They must stop this at all costs. The pain, the agony, the sorrow. Lefties are suffering when their lies are exposed.:cryingcry

I've said it time & time again, time is not good to the Lefties.

I remember the incidents that you've mentioned - and the pundits were all out in full force giving their points of view from both sides of the spectrum. I and many conservatives weren't happy and were very vocal about the movies that depicted both Reagan and Bush with extremely negative depictions.

But that is what this nation is all about - each of us raising his voice in support or protest.

What I find to be scary is the way the Congressionnal Democrats threatened to revoke the broadcasting license of ABC if the movie was aired with certain scenes - this is political censorship at its worst!

If the Republican were to do this the uproar would deafen all of us - yet the main stream media ignores this blatant abuse of power!

The hypocrisy here is YOUR unwillingness to recognize this fascist power play by the Democrat leadership to censor free speach!

Didn't you say Moore's crap made some good points?

I guess that would make you the lead Hypocrite.

I think this movie is bullshit too.

It very well might (make me a hypocrite). Was the scene of Bush sitting idly by after being told the nation was under attack a staged movie moment? Was the scene with the mom of the dead soldier who was harassed when she went to Washington staged? Were the plans of dividing up Iraqi oil by Cheney and friends (years prior to invasion) just made up and then hidden away until a request to FOIA reveladed them?

Fine for you to say the movie is Bullshit - I'll explain why a lot of what was in F911 was not. I'm sure like most people who bash the movie you've never even seen it. But in the event you have, be honest and list the bullshti without going to some anti-moore website and copy/pasting it.

If you have noticed, people do not DISPUTE the facts. They DISCREDIT the movie and Michael Moore. That is their best defense.

Of course I've seen it. I read "Dude where's my Country" (more bullshit) before that.

Yes it's all Bullshit. As was stated, Bush sitting there was meaningless.

Yes the Mom going to Washington was bullshit. I don't blame her for grieving however she sees fit, but the majority of Family's who have lost loved ones support the War and The President.

Plans for Iraq Existed with a Democratic President in Office... they just were not put into play..that Cheney should have "plans" is.... Well let me say he damn well better have had plans.

His portrayal of Pre War Iraq was a joke. His talking to 3 Solder's at Walter Reed who were anti-war was COMPLETE bullshit. Don Imus went to Walter Reed and said the Most shocking thing was that nearly ALL Soldiers supported the was and Wanted to get back over there. Ya think Fat Ass finding 3 that didn't was intellectually dishonest?

I could list 50 things that were wrong with that movie... but you don't care because you are a self admitted Hypocrite.

That's without copying and pasting from an Anti Moore site. Although I don't see what the difference is..your thoughts are directly from EVERY left wing blog.

If Moore lied, why didn't he ever get sued?

I've seen many poor arguments on this board, and that one is near the top of the list. Many arguments are factually much worse, but few are less intellectual.

There are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many factual errors, I wouldn't know where to begin. But here's a list of 59 lies.

Michael Moore is one of the biggest-fatest-worst liars in America today.
