ABC's halftime crew keeps saying how disappointed they are in Oklahoma and their efforts and "hope" they play better in the 2nd half. What are they Oklahoma boosters or something?

Jerome Bettis was singing the Notre Dame fight song on NBC so apparently it's a common occurance today.

The announcers definatly do not have the same zeal for Penn St.

Just a UW alum kinda pissed to hear that. Why couldn't our boys just be playing a good game?

NBC are effectively the Notre Dame home station though, so that's partly to be expected.

NBC does have a large monetary investment in Notre Dame, so its not a surprise.

NBC has been like that for years, no surprise. Their sideline reporters have long sounded like assistant coaches.

Plus Jerome went to Notre Dame so i can somewhat understand.

He played the last time the two schools played, back in the snow game in 1992. I remember that game well, my senior year at Penn State.
