Head coach FERENTZ at the top of the list.

Lets see, im 46 years of age and that was the most complete travesty of coaching I HAVE EVER SEEN POSSIBLY.

Any sane individual reviewing the tape of this game can certainly agree.................totally absurd display of commonsense.

As a DEVOTED IOWA fan, possibly never been more disgusted..............IOWA STATE fans should be celebrating in my feelings.

Believe that I am officially banned from one of my local watering holes after almost breaking their mega 60+inch screeen.

IOWA coach Ferentz on the hot seat, and rightly so.

Overall, he is a fantastic coach with all he brings to the table, especially in terms of teaching the fundamentals of the game and being ethical.

As an in-game coach.............he absolutely reeks and sucks.

Seen it time and time again.............and today it was PAINFULLY obvious to any 2nd grader.

TERRIBLE--TERRIBLE--TERRIBLE.

give me more detail why you are so upset with Ferentz. Ron Zook is a horrible in game coach. the Hawks have played in 4 straight Jan bowl games. I'm not sure if you get to that point with the talent Iowa has and a horrible coach.

this gameplan is the same thing we have seen the last 5 years...

hopefully you were just blowing off some steam... hopefully the hawks were looking past Syracuse to next week...

If Tate played yesterday, and took away the 4 int backup threw, not a peep from Fish. Turnovers kill any team, esp on road. Settle down, sir.

At the end of the 3rd quarter this "journayman QB" had FOUR INT's and one of the very best running backs in the county had a total of SEVEN carries.

Fortunately for all Iowa fans Coach McCarney is one of the worst gametime coaches out there. He makes at least a dozen bonehead moves each and every Saturday.

Is this the same Fishead I spoke with after the Montana win last weekend? Yes, Iowa did not play up to their capabilities yesterday, but at the end of the season, a win is a win. As for Iowa State, I have read it was a very controversial ending to last night's win over UNLV. Did you see the game, Skylone? If you did, what's your opinion?

the off. game-calling was poor but to say Ferentz is a lousy in-game coach is a bit much.

I don't know what their gameplan was (was there one) but they are in trouble if Tate isn't back soon.

Weird ending, but the correct call was made on the field. The officials handled it poorly, though. Last second pass into the back of the endzone into a crowd. Official ruled it incomplete, then the receiver came out with the ball, and the UNLV coaches and players went nuts. They refused to leave the field, and the crowd gave them hell.

The officials did review it, but they did not convey that to either team.

The Cyclones were fortunate to win. Zero offense in the second half, and their horrid defense made the backup UNLV QB look like a star.

Iowa will destroy this Cyclone team.

Could both teams have less confidence coming into this game? Iowa looked awful, and ISU has been lucky to pull off two wins against supposed inferior opponents. UGH!
