Twins 10.5 games out of first a month ago. They pulled within 2 games of the Tigers today. Santana is virtually unstoppable and Liriano is about ready to come back. This has been about as enjoyable month and a half of baseball as I've ever had. I just hope they can keep it up and Liriano can make it back and be as effective as he was.

This is about as remarkable a come back as I have ever seen....Hopefully Minny gets in, they might just be the favorites with those two nasty leftys...IF they get in.

Great to listen to on MLB radio with Gladden. Herb Carneal even does some innings and he was the radio guy when I lived there in the 70's.

I'm with ya cy1981, born and raised in Minnesota and always a fan no matter what, and it's just a nice bonus when you're team is playing inspired baseball.

Morneau's been the bomb. So has Mauer. But I almost believe Santana deserves just about as much consideration. Every 5 days they have a sure win. He has just been spectacular the last 2 years.
