It's a lot easier to find on off stuff like quarters, halves, props, etc. instead of full games.

I don't play for many scalps at all, I go more for middles

I had ( real time)

Det +7.5 -110
Sea -6.5 -107

Fortunately twice as much on Detroit, free half on the 7 is sweet deal for me, but not available to anybody new.

No, the second game ( loser) was a killer good line I got, I lost with Seattle at Pinny for $225 risk.

Houstan +7 -110 was a great line, even though it lost.

do you mean you are playing overlays and not middles and scalps?

I play it all, but not much on pure scalps. I can't get enough to take 4 cent scalps with SIA totals at $220.

Did anybody get anything close to Houston +7 -110 ? That was just a bet I have to take for value. Easily scalpable, but I kept it all.

least talked about thing of importance one here is middiling NFL (IMO).

For example on I am sitting on a +3.5 NY Giants(-110) and Indy Colts -2.5 (-118). Not a great play but a profittable one(IMO).

Doug,

%wise how may of your total plays are scalps, how many are middles and how many are one sided in football (CFB and NFL)

had the same bet (Houston +7) with a local (not sure if that counts). I tried to middle with Philly -5.5 (skybook free half point).

I've known many sharps lose millions trying to middle NFL.It was a lot easier 5-10 years ago and they couldn't do it than.I say stay away. But I'm just a green duck, what do I know.

The three for 28 cents works for me, I'd bet that. I don't have numbers readily available but straight scalps are few for me, I aim to the weaker number.

I'll try for middles a lot with football since I have a place that gives me the hook with the 7, as long as funds are not tied up on something else... I'll shoot on games with no real opinion. I'll take +7.5/-6.5 at -110 in NFL, or +7/ -6, etc.

Sometimes with SIA you get +4 +105, take back -3.5 -105 at Pinny, I do that instead of a locked in scalp.

I often make over 100 bets in a day, and can't tie up funds for scalps. The best stuff I can't post, or I won't be able to bet it myself. I bet many correlated parlays, those just don't publish well, or you lose them for yourself. I'll work with only a few like TRY3,Sean,and Sherwood on those.

thanks. Slowly molding my "game" into what it looks like you already do( a LONG way to go) , best way to say what you do is that you are betting good numbers more than betting opinions. Let the market dictate what you are doing, correct?

Only scalp baseball, do you do that? and what about CFB numbers they are way tougher to middle (IMO)?

I have certain bets I'll make no matter what teams play with CFB, said too much already.

I don't scalp baseball at all really, I'd have to tie up too much money to make very little. I think you'd need like 100k to do it, and maybe make $200 a day, I'll gamble a bit. I can't justify $600/month to Don B.

I don't look for CFB middles very much, I do a little. I can tell quickly if a number has value, without figuring out what I can sell it back to Pinny for, by then it might be gone. If it's good I buy instantly, then decide what to do with it. That chews up bankroll... buy a few numbers for $500-1000 to try to middle... bet the other side too...money runs out ! I don't have unlimited resources, easy to tie up tons of cash trying for a middle, then no monies to bet are left.

I don't want excessive amounts stored at shakier ( now) offshore books to play scalp game, I wan't less even at the best, but need some.

Try middles on CBB instead of CFB. 1.5 points is about even ( good for rollover), anything better like low juice on one end or more than 1.5 points becomes money. CFB,NFL, and Canadian foots are different and not interchageable.

I already do. I actually just keep more of the soft number(and still try to middle some of it) and made a kiling last year in the last 2 months of year with these "steam" moves at the "square books" but haven't found the same success with these type plays in foots or bases.

How do you handle CFB? Do you follow someone, middle, bet soft numbers only (if so it looks like that method and I may be wrong, is getting killed so far this year) or some more advanced stuff like you said earlier that you didn't want to talk about? Trying to put together a plan on how to bet CFB this year.

I don't follow anybody, couldn't tell you the name of any CFB player in fact.

More likely to bet weak numbers than to middle attempt. PM me your digits at Fezz's, and I'll talk to you while I'm in a good mood.
