I was going to strongly recommend Cleveland today.

Anyone have opinions?

BEFORE the first pitch?

Also, it looks like there will be a great chance for rain there on the Cuyahoga River.

I will examine the weather later today approaching game time.

Please, if you have anything, toss it out here and let's figure this one out.

I am no capper and I've been struggling lately with MLB after a GREAT start and middle.

I want to finish strong.

Situationally, I believe Cleveland -1.5 runs -1.05 is a winning type play.

Tulsa, Clevelands offense is so weak right now. May want to check who is even playing before tgametime. With Hafner out that leaves a big gaping whole in the middle of that lineup in which the Indians have severely struggled scoring runs. Sizemore is in a terrible slump and the whole Cleveland Indian teams seems to me that they could care less. I fell for them last night as more of a play on the pitchers then the hitting, but it failed as they could only score 3 runs off Hernandez and ZERO runs on the KC bullpen. When you score ZERO runs off the KC bullpen you know you have problems. To me that line is way to high given the lineup that Cleveland puts out there each and everyday. . .It is one of the worst in the league.

Sizemore, Micheals, Martinez, Garko, Blake, Marte, Peralta, Choo, and Inglett. Thats a pretty weak lineup and not one I can imagine ever laying -200 on again. :nopityA:

Thanks Kruser... Yeah...I was reading about some of those missing in the line-up and at the price, I guess I will just stay away.

Thanks for pointing out the facts!!

Good luck.

Westbook is either ON or OFF...i think a -1.5 is worth it in this case...if you roll w/ the Tribe.

i agree that that lineup isnt worth -200...but just because you've never heard of/or seen Garko does not mean he is terrible (he has actually done very well filling in for Hafner). although right now they seem pretty ripe, we have seen in this years Marlins that prospects CAN get it done.

Garko has done well this season in the number AB's he has had. The pitchers have yet to find his weakness (Slider low and outside) but yes he is batting .313 in 114 at bats.

I was a winner on this one...

GutterRoaches...sorry to hear the crappy return on the KC Royals. The Cubs do a similar thing to me. I bet against them, they win. I bet on them, they lose. I hate the Cubs.

Anywho.... I won on this because Kruser took the time to come here and school me a bit. I would have played Cleveland fairly heavily and lost a good bit on them this evening. However, good sense was offered up in this thread and I win by default. I saved a good bit of $ on this one...it was my favorite side today. How can you lose to KC twice in a row AT HOME!!?? If you don't know, ask Cleveland and Boston.

Thanks guys. This stuff is what the forums are for. Thanks much.

Good luck.
