rome really is awful, but he is laughing all the way to the bank. he panders to his audience well. his show on espn is just brutal. his ratings were so low that he was moved to the horrendous time slot he has now. also, on the radio, all his stuff is written and scripted by his writers. again, he is just coasting on his multi million dollar contract, but cant stand the guy.

That clip is great. Now...here is the deal. I've watched that clip several, several times (more than the Ken. Assination) and I truly and 100% believe that was staged. The guest does not react AT ALL like anyone does when they are that pissed. Not at all.
At the same time, I would hope that was 100% NOT staged as I would love someone to beat the shit out of Jim Rome. It was staged, though. Why?
A couple of reasons: They shut the video off too quick for that. In reality, cameras roll no matter what and producers stop the outflow of info but they never stop the tape. There would be video of them pulling Crissy off and the continued confrontation to get the attacker away (and the attacker Crissy would not care about what is seen....hell he was attacking anyway; one might as well kick some more ass than what is on the video)
Jim Rome would have sued. You know it. I know it. Didn't happen. It was staged and you know it. I know it.
HOWEVER, even seeing Jim Rome 'pretend beat-up' is a blessing and wonder. It just makes me want more.
