"Sixes and Sevens" An old phrase, more used in the UK than the US. Means being in a muddle, or in disarray.
Of course we all know this is not a book for high rollers or consistent winners. And from the start and to this day they have had ongoing cs problems, despite the gallant efforts of "Jimmy" to correct them. (Is he still there?)
They do have some positive features. Not much is all black & white.
I joined up around the start of foots last season, when a mod (either Fish or Wil) announced they were offering a c-note bonus for a deposit of same. Figured I'd make a bet or two and be up, or down and out.
At season's end I had increased my hundred around sevenfold. And a while back drew all but a few hundred, which I used to bet horses. Had some bad beats and ended with less than five bucks.
And also at this time had an odd $185 left in my Neteller account. So I went to my bookmark or "favorite" and clicked on Nine, just like I did for betting the ponies up to a month or so ago. That would give me around $200, with the re-up bonus, what I started with the last year.
Don't most of us save the books we are at to the Favorites?
The bonus page showed reloads getting 10% FREE CASH. (The caps were theirs.) So I netellered them the 185 and they credited me with it plus ---- A 10% Bonus Play. This is relative chump change, but out of curiousity I called, and the cs lady could not figure out the difference between free cash and a Bonus Play.
After consulting for some time off the phone, she returned and told me that they no longer offered free cash on re-ups, just a Bonus Play.
I told her she should change that on the site - and only later figured out that they had, but instead of changing their entire site address (where all the info would be as originally stated) they left it alone. So one could bet off the Favorite click, but not get any new info. Not too swift on their part.
Nothing they could do, she said. No big thing for me, but I imagine if someone used a bookmark -remember, I was able to bet off the bookmarked or saved to Favorites page - for some serious money I think they'd be a bit pissed.
And BTW, the lady, Martina I think, told me that re-ups get only 10 % - not 20%. So, what is that banner ad for Nine up on screen top showing a 20% bonus for re-ups? Doesn't seem to show as such on their revised site either, unless it's for casino play.
