AZ announced Luis Gonzalez is a not coming back next season. His hit won the WS for them in '01 and along with his good-guy personality he is pretty much the most beloved player in AZ.
He will be speaking to the fans tonight before the game which should be somewhat emotional. even though this is not his last home game, the players will step up on this one and win it for him. Certainly doesn't hurt to have Webb on the mound coming off a one hitter.
