All I see that crosses the 3 and 7 is:

Jax +8.5
GB +8.5

Even money

I don't like GB, can't pull the trigger.

I don't do totals or college games, is that the correct consensus opinion ?

Bears are a judgement call. I imagine Jacksonville will go to +3 on MNF, as most players like favorite and past SB winner.

Something with this theory always botherd me is , why doesn't team like Jax become a play when they +3 but are a play at +2.5

the theory behind this "proven" teaser strategy is to take a dog +1.5, 2 or 2.5 and go past the 3 AND 7 or a favorite that is -7.5, -8 or -8.5(also picking up the 7 and the 3)

Whoops..."Detroit" should say "Chicago."

I know the theory.

But why wait until a line goes to -7.5 before teasing it? What is wrong with taking a line at -7 and teasing it or -6 and teasing it. For "value"? Where's the value in that?

I don't really know, as I asked a similar question earlier in the thread. If I wait and Jax goes to +3 than I can't take them because that is too many points? Don't make sense does it? Bet Jax now before they go too high:lolBIG:

I guess the followers of this rule must beleieve in the strict guidelines.

The reasoning for the the above is that all the research is based on closing lines, not openers or other random data. Of course if you're 100% on the linemove it's not -EV to play it.

Steak Tartar's advice is of course -EV ;-)
