Greetings from the National Right for Online Gaming. I figured i would give you all an update from Washington DC since things have been very sticky the last few days. We, along with other lobbyists, have been working overtime to try and defeat Sen. Frists latest attempt to take away our rights to gamble online and it looks like we're winning and he's failing. As of late last night it appears the effort to attach a ban of sorts to the Defense bill is close to dead. word is that many committee members are upset at the language and from what we have been old any 'leach-like' bills have been removed. I wish i could say thats the end but i cant. Frist isnt too hapy and is still trying to find ways to get it back in. from the information we're getting some of the decent comes from those who want language more like the house bill that passed which is much more damaging to the industry. that would be much harder to attach and get approval on but it may be an option. we will continue to keep you posted every step of the way. remember we are fighting for you and you deserve to know whats going on in real time. we still need your support as members of NROG so if you havent joined for free or donated please do..we have a lot of work to do! www.saveonlinegaming.com thanks! jay bailey (from the blackberry at the heart of the fight...that explains any typos...sorry)
