Well that line did move a lot and I am not so sure this was a gret example of covering for the alumni...

What may have happened he may have just wanted to give his long kicker a shot , this was a different FG kicker than the other two attempts....the 3rd down play before the Buckeyes lost 17 yrds, to put the ball all the way back at the 35.

There are tons of sh*t calls in every sport -- everytime they're pointed out we get the usual "you must of lost" crowd.

I'm pretty sure there are some sports fans amongst us that are sick of BS calls, plays, etc ...

the big problem i have in that game is Minny is UP 59-0 with 4 minutes left and Mason kicks a 35-yard FG

it is almost 60-0 - what the hell do you need 3 more points in a non-conf game in which there is NO revenge to settle

THAT is what i have the biggest problem with. i could see if this was KSU witll Bill Snyder - but this....???

Bottom line - If that lameass lineman for Cincy could have just fallen on the fumble (there was noone within 5 yards of him!!!) on the play BEFORE the 52-yarder, us Cincy bettors wouldn't have had to sweat out that kick! And yes, Tressel should have run a play - you're up 27, the FG is not needed. Obviously an alumni cover. And if I had bet OSU I'd be thanking the gambling gods daily for that miracle cover.

speaking of alumni covers....a couple of years ago , boise st head Coach Now i believe at colorado fvckin rAN UP the score and THREW FOR A TOUCHDOWN with I believe a half minute left TO COVER By around ONLY 30! I believe it twas a bowl game even...does anyone out there remember this assh*le ??? Unbelievable !!! WHERE tHE Hell are the commentators ??? how Come they never mention that / AL Michaels would !
