figures, you know little or nothing of competition, the desire to beat your opponent with their best. if winning means subjecting your team to cheapshots i'd rather just lose, improve your team and make the plays. the joy you recieve from beating an opponent at his best is hard to explain unless you've felt it yourself. obtw "karma"

no i'm no micheal jordan, just love to compete fairly. no anamosity anainst younger guys at all, i think some of the most valuable posters we have are young guys. immature poor sports, regardless of their age, garner little respect and no admiration from me. you'll learn in time of this i'm sure, i wish you well because i hope you really would not like a player of vicks abilities injured in order to benefit your fantasy team. later..

come on it's part of the game....you see it all the time.......hell when i played hs soccer i got 10 cheapshots my freshman year. including 2 guys that punched me in the balls and a kid that bit me. refs dont see shit so you have to take matters into your own hands. you see it in the bottom of scrums in football all the time. you see it in NASCAR with intentionally spinning someone. hell, how many illegal picks and hand checks did john stockton make? so why the dbl standard? why are these situations called "crafty" instead?

playing within the rules of the game is one thing. blatantly breaking the rules just to take someone out is another thing.

just cause dirty play happens, that makes it right? um no it doesn't.

addendum:

gaylord perry used an illegal pitch to get in the HOF and he isn't looked down upon.......

those mid 90s knicks and late 80s pistons teams cheap shotted everyone and were just called "playing within the boundaries of the game"

dsethi.......im saying why is it condoned in some instances and why not in others???? during a fumble when there's a scrum at the bottom you are expected to bite, pull, grab anything u can. earnhardt is revered by millions but was a very dirty driver. why the double standard?

there's no double standard. you said u wanted gruden to have some dude blast vick to injure him out the game. people may play dirty but don't think most of these guys were tryin to get someone out of the game to win by breaking the rules.
scrounging at the bottom of a fumble pile to get the ball? sure. trying to break someone's leg? no

intent to injury!!!!!!

Earnhardt could have more than injured someone....he could've KILLED someone and yet his actions on the racetrack are condoned. Why????? Bertuzzi/Domi/Roy all their actions are condoned but they have seriously hurt people. Why the double standard???
