Yeah he needs to go. Whoever's decision it was to start Brunell at QB should be fired immediately. He is a defensive coordinators dream..

He's just so stubborn. You would think that any coach in his position would have known Brunell is on E during this past offseason. We go get Lloyd and Randle El to put alongside Moss...but you need a QB thats going to be able to use them!! Should've gone after Brees or sped up Campbell.

it a boring offense and Burnell is not going down the field to spread the defense, imo with the new rules and Gibbs not taking any chances to open up the field.just not sure here...ck

It is time for him to scribble "Red was here too" on the locker room wall and then leave.

It would appear the game has passed him by. Beginning to run out of excuses as open wallet owner Snyder going to pull the plug on him anyway. Big mistake betting season on creaky stationary Brunell, the wooden Indian Redskin. I know, all the Skins fan told me last week, it is not Mark's fault. Yes, he played OK. My point is, you know where to find him, that led to 6 sacks. Those kill drives and your offense in general. Lose the down and distance. Plus his glory days are so long gone he never connects deep, has the weapons now so? After a couple of games your QB has no TD's, you have to do something. I think on the road, with crowd noise he is unable to audible out of bad blocking schemes. Gibbs should have that down, as it is coaching. I am going to file Gibbs and Art Shell under coaches that should have stayed away. Next stop, laying 4 1/2 to Houston, in Texas. Talk about the Texas two step. Take away that goofy kick return and they scored a whopping 3 points. They could easily lose battle of the losers.

Mark scans the field for an open man, lookout! Sacked again. Wooden Redskins can't scramble.

A couple of points:

1. They do NOT need to rush Jason Campbell into the starting role. This is what is wrong with teams today. They are thrusting players into roles too fast when most are doomed to fail.

I feel the salary cap as alot to do with this as teams are trying to get things done within a certain window & will sacrifice the future for now.

2. The Skins have a brand new offense which supposedly 700+ plays or pages, I can't recall which. The scheme is new as well as new players at the skill positions.

The judgement of the offense is coming way too fast. Players must still learn it & coaches must determine if the players are even the right fit. The usual saying is the first year or so you are learning the offense. The second year + you start to execute the offense.

Somehow Brunell threw 20 Tds and just 9 picks las year...Mabe Joe can nurse him along, he is painful to watch though, just plain painful.
