Gehrig's and Ripken's consecutive game streaks

A question:

Maybe I should know this and I assume these streaks were for regular- season games only, but:

Gehrig's streak of 2130 and Ripken's streak of 2631, did these streaks include postseason games or not?

Not certain, but don't believe so.

All MLB records are regular-season games only, unless specifically identified as such. So the consecutive game streaks are just regular season.
