Thought I'd share my thoughts on Giants/Rockies game tonight & see what kind of feedback I get.

When I first looked at opening MLB lines yesterday I couldn't help but do a double take when I saw that the Giants were only -140 favorites over the Rockies with Cain pitching. Cain has given up ZERO earned runs in his last 4 games (29 innings). He has given up only 1 earned run in last 6 games (42 innings). And here is the kicker, in his last game against the Rockies he pitched 8 innings, 2 hits, no runs. Also has career WHIP of 0.95 vs Rockies & career BAA 0f .152 vs Rockies. In addition, Giants are still in playoff race & "need" this game.

So I ask you this: Why the hell is Colorado only favored by -140, and the line has moved DOWN since it opened.

My play: take the Rockies tonight ML to win, or at least +1.5

I already took Cain, but you could be right, these pitchers don't stay hot forever, he might come back to earth a little, but then again might not. I say not!!

Public should be all over Giants tonight. Even after getting shelled last night. Smart/sharp money has to be on Rockies. At least that's what I'm basing my reasoning on. This line just seems way out of whack to me. Last week, Cain was -200 vs Reds.

Sell crazy someplace else...we're all stocked up h
