Is it any coincidence the teams with these players making outrageous quotes always suck?

Winslow is a definite wack job but an awesome talent...remember that game where Miami just ran it right behind Winslow right down FSU's throat...

You just wanna shake this kid and say wake the fuck up, you have the world at your feet, just play ball....His dad is so well spoken and a gentleman, atleast I always felt he was.

Whats so wrong with the comment J? I'd rather have someone trying to fire up their team then someone packing it in and just going out there and collecting a check (which is more prevalent than you would think).

It wouldn't be so much a problem if he wasn't complaining about his coaching staff and basically going over top of them...after his 2nd game!

I wish the guy would just shut up and play, it's not like he's proven himself at this level....I feel he will be a great player, hopefully he will grow up and show some respect at some point.

Maybe he can make the games more exciting by riding his motorcycle along the sidelines during the game.

Yeah, I remember his dad talked K2 outta going to Washington because he would find a "more friendly" atmosphere in Miami

Ehh, it was a little more than that Hines. Senior wanted to have Junior go to somewhere that had more black asst coaches (which is definitely his right). At the time he was 17 and needed an adult to sign his letter of intent. If Junior was so intent of going to U Dub, then after his 1st year he could have transferred.

Right, I remember, Winslow Sr. thought Neuheisel was a racist and refused to sign the LOI for his son.

he's right about cleveland needing to air it out more and that soldier comment didn't bother me, he was fired up right after a game.

I'm not sure that was the case...but def. was race related. He wanted his son to go to a school w/ a black head coach & refused to sign the letter of intent on national tv.

Since there was only like 2 black head coaches at the time...and not exactly any big time programs...they decided on Miami becuase they had a black coordinator, or a black tight ends coach...dont remember exactly but I thought thats how it went down.

The 'idiot' gene was passed on...and hopefully #55 Willie McGinest talks some sense into the kid...Willie was brought in by Crennel to be an example setter & hopefully he can correct this goof ball.
