Through three weeks of the current college football campaign, the Big East has gone 15-5 straight up in non-conference play, including a remarkable 13-3 against the spread. And after three dominating efforts from its top tier this past weekend, the conference has clearly placed itself back in college football’s upper echelon.

Can SOUTH FLORIDA cover this week at KANSAS?

The BIG EAST is vastly underrated by the masses in my opinion.......at least with the top TWO teams.

WVU and LOUISVILLE can play with any team in the nation.

In fact, preseason had myself selecting LOUISVILLE and AUBURN......... #2 and #1 in the nation respectively...........thus far, so good.

Syracuse should be a good ATS team for a while

The coach is still implementing his system and recruiting his own players.

'Cuse should continue to get better and better.

How many of those wins were against cupcakes? Maryland? When have they even had a winning record as of late? Miami I guess. Who is their coach again? These preseason paper champs often burst into flames early. Who else? They have 2 1/2 teams. WV, Louisville, and irrepressible Rutgers. They have their share of total stiffs also. They are scheduling early very well. And in a sense that was because of the defections, not because of a plan. Late notice need for a game, sisters of the poor will visit. Game over by the half. Cover with ease. I will tell you this, both of the top 2 teams would give just about any team out there a good game. I am sure the one between them will be a good one. I still have it circled.

If somehow, someway SOUTH FLORIDA can upset Kansas this weekend.......................the RUTGERS at SOUTH FLORIDA FRIDAY night game the following week at Raymond James Stadium is one that will be very intriging, at least for this neophite observer.

Don't know about all of that, do know Loiusville rocketed off the -10 to -14. Whenever something clicks, get spotted, the people with money see the same thing. That is what I look at.

A bit different up in Kansas than this week. They will not face a rusty out of sync QB, who threw the game away, or a team with it's top back suspended. So a win against McNeese State, a 1 point squeaker at home vs. powerhouse Florida International, and a win against UCF without Kevin Smith. That QB for UCF lost the game for them, easily. This had nothing to do with So FLA's D, the kid was awful.

From recap: Moffett looked rusty from the start, ending UCF's first two possessions with interceptions and nearly tossing another shortly afterward on a botched timing route. He repeatedly over and underthrew, missing an open receiver in the end zone on the final drive that could've tied the game, and finished with 219 yards on 19-of-44 passing and one TD.

Undefeated season ends this week.

I think Louisville, at home anyway, could beat ANYONE in the nation with Bush and Brohme. No question in my mind..

Yes, I also have it a high 3. The score, I do not have a clue. It could be a real barn burner as I am still wondering how good their defense is. Miami not exactly high scoring test. Plus they need a real stout run defense, which I do not think they have. Been following this one fairly close. I think Louisville will get their points. So will West Virginia, but if they do not break big runs, the score could be low. Real good game, midseason.
