Harry Hamlin is history tonight. The guy is stiff as a board. I double popped it for the limit and it is currently +260.

Unreal.

Just saw this at pinny and was going to post this.

I dont understand this line - could they possibly already know who is going home?

I didnt want to be the first to start this thread but its money so it is relevant.

Seems the public does not like Moakler, she may be sent packing. If this contest was talent only Springer would be eliminated and dragged out to the parking lot for an ass kicking

Big fan base.

I hate to get so technical about this, but I actually did a quick study in to how they calculate who gets kicked off. Its tricky and not so straight forward:

They take the total points given by the judges and then they figure what percentage of that total each person got. So for last night it looks like this:

<TABLE style="WIDTH: 236pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=315 border=0 x:str><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 140pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 6838" width=187><COL style="WIDTH: 48pt" width=64><COL style="WIDTH: 48pt" width=64><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl22 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; They then take the total number of votes from the public and figure what percentage share each person got out of the total public vote.

Then they add the 2 percentages together.

HERE IS THE IMPORTANT PART (MY OPINION!!) - the public has a much bigger part in deciding the loser than the judges. I say this because the judges distribution is very close and the shares are 4.35% from top to bottom difference. The public vote could be all over the place. The top team could have a 20 share and the bottom a 3 share. This means that anyone can go home any week depending upon public vote - but this will get tighter as there are less and less contestants.

I will take the + odds tonight because I do think anyone can go home with the public vote possibility of being so variable.

sara will not be eliminated....... way too popular and that counts big time.

shana or willa is a good possibility and if its for sure rigged, then a woman leaves tonight... a man left last week, so they wouldnt want back to back men leaving..

Jerry
Shana
Willa

one of those 3 are leaving..

Springer has a huge following. I expect him to last a show or two more for entertainment of the viewers. He'll get lots of votes from the public. On the men's side, Mario, Joey, Emitt and Jerry are all safe in my opinion. Harry is the weak link. On the women's side, Willa , Monique and Vivica are all safe. Sara has a huge southern support that helped her last week. Remember Taylor Hicks and his Soul Patrol. Shanna is the weak link. Think it comes down to Harry and Shanna, but Shanna's performance was much, much better. Harry is a stiff. Still think he is gone tonight.

As long as it's a male, I don't really care. But would hate to see Jerry go. He is a kick on this show and trying his best. Entertaining anyway.

im definately gettting a kick out of Jerry....... very entertaining and not as bad, as he lets on....

not much difference in the women on the show, although some are more popular....

Joey and Mario are hands down the best and id have to side with mario as most talented but last night cost him and if he does not get the votes from audience, he is in jeopardy tonight...

Line is moving against this play. I am worried about people knowing who is gone in instances such as these.

I have been noticing and wondering the same thing. Did a leak get out about 2 hours before showtime and the results are known. Who is to say the people involved in the show don't bet or have someone bet for them. At this point, all I can do is believe in what I saw and hope that Harry doesn't have a major following of support because he was terrible. I was going to bet him if there were decent odds just on him to be eliminated. At least there are 4 other men, but only Jerry Springer could be considered rather poor, but his following is huge. That's gambling.
