This guy hasn't the balls to bench Lefty...he is keeping the best guys on the bench and is afraid to hurt some people's feelings. Cink is worthless and guys like Love and Daly get left off. Verplank who is one of the games shortest hitters is worthless and can't make any putts. I thought Curtis Strange was a poor coach but Lehman takes the cake.:Sad Face: :nohead:
i've always liked the guy but i have to agree with ya... how the hell does he not bench mickleson, he has been completely worthless, i can count on one hand the number of makeable birdie attempts i've seen him take the last two days... i was really hoping he would take long john for this thing as well, i believe he would do great in the fourball matches, a birdie machine... now we have to hope for another miracle comeback tomorrow:nohead:
Lehman had to play the cards he was dealt...he was dealt a losing hand with 4 rookies, Johnson, Taylor, Henry, and Wetterich, but to Lehman's credit, he did make 2 good captain's picks in Cink and Verplank, who justified their selections today by winning their singles matches. Good experience for the Yanks, the Euros were just the better squad this time....we'll get 'em in 2 years!
