They covered the first game of the season as 19 point favs. Sorry I didn't speak up the second week, if that's what you're referring to, as Rutgers was a 5 unit play for me. Illini 2-2 ATS right now. No thanks on the MSU game, though.TwoCard said:Lost all the money I am going to on Illinois after that 1st game of the season.
I wasn't going to play the game, but after seeing this post, I'm going to borrow money to get down as much as I can on Illinois in this one.Brock Landers said:MSU will take Illinois to the woodshed, they will likely score 40+ points, last year got over 60!
And Juice Williams won't be any better on the road, yesterday was really misleading, Iowa didn't even try in the 2nd half..

Obviously, you are unaware of MSU's coach and their team character. Check and see what happened last year, and you will not be playing them next week. That team dominated Ohio St on the road, and when they lost because of some fluke bad beats, they gave up. Lost by 50 to Northwestern at home shortly after that game. They have nothing to prove after last night, they outplayed Notre Dame the whole game. They just need to stop choking and not quit. But they are chokers and they are quitters. And pussies. And their coach is far worse than they are.quantumleap said:MSU has something to prove after this weekend's loss. They will take it out on Illinois. It's called the flip-flop factor.
Look at LSU this weekend. They lost to Auburn last weekend and put it on Tulane.
What exactly do they have to prove after last night? That they were the better team on field? That much was obvious. Whether they beat Illinois by 1 or by 70, nothing next week will prove shit.quantumleap said:MSU has something to prove after this weekend's loss. They will take it out on Illinois. they dropped 4 or 5 straight i believe.quantumleap said:It seems by your tone that you are agitated. I could be wrong, but don't let that cause you to miss the obvious. When a team loses a game they should have won they feel they have to win the next game big to prove they are a good team. You see, people believe they are chokers, which they are. They want to dispel that notion by winning big next weekend.
I like your previous comment of how MSU didn't do well after they lost by some by beats. I'll take another look at their season last year because of your post. Thanks for bringing that up.
I'm not agitated at all. I had ND last night. I'm just saying that you're kidding yourself if you think that is their attitude right now. Their attitude is more like "shit, we lost, our season is blown. Now we have to play that shitty junior college team next week, and I'd rather stay home and smoke pot." Just pointing out that your reasons for playing them couldn't be any more wrong. But Illinois is that bad, so you have a 50/50 shot of winning if you play them. Good luck.quantumleap said:It seems by your tone that you are agitated. I could be wrong, but don't let that cause you to miss the obvious.
