The most under-rated sport is starting its season next week. Hopefully, the Canes do well this year and not call last season a fluke. I'm looking forward to seeing how Vancouver will do now with a decent goalie and if the East got stronger from last season.

Last year I posted some picks, did well at the beginning and them came rocketing back down and quit right when I hit break even after about the first month and a half. I wasn't sure if I really had a handle on how the new rules had changed things after seeing many underdogs and puckline plays go down.

I'll probably give it another shot this season.

lots can happen between now and the NHL playoffs....

if somehow they can make the playoffs it would be a profitable play at odds of 165/1
