The team I follow the most is the Angels. They are in a must win situation tonight, Texas (who has some bad blood with the Angels right now) hopes to spoil the small chance that the Halos have left. Angel Stadium IS not a hitter's park at night...I tend to expect nothing higher then a 9 is this situation. Saunders should do a fairly good job of keeping the explosive Ranger offense in check, on the other hand, Volquez has struggled but is still being given another chance to "try out" for a spot in the rotation next year. The Tex coaching staff must see the raw talent in Volquez. I look for a "decent" start by him tonight (the reason why the total is so high is because he has pitched like dog shit this year).

Also, while the Angels were on their road trip, Dodger Stadium saw more HR's because it was fairly warm/muggy here last week. I live minutes away from Angel stadium and it seems like it has been 4-5 degrees cooler at night the past couple nights. I see this game being more of a 5-3, 4-3 kind of game and will take the generous 9.5 points. This game could easily be in the double digits, but not more than 48% of the time IMO. The play:

LAA UN 9.5 -113 (1.2 units)

Very good and very nice write-up. Better than the write-up is the logic.

I'm going to ride along. Thanks and good luck.
