Well a nice 7* winner yesterday and I think we get two more easy winners again today to run the streak to five in a row. Santana has lost two straight, but not three. KC is already on vacation, who wouldn't be?

4* Minn -1.5, -65
4* over 8

Speculation: might be the B squad in the field behind Santana tonight.

Even though Twins are still chasing DET, Gardenhire seems big on resting his regulars and after the WC clinching party last night this might be the spot, on the theory that 2-3 runs should be enough to beat KC with his ace.

I really like minesota on the run line tonight. Here is a stat for you.

In Kc's last 18 losses, all have been by more than one run!!!!!! They have also lost 7 in a row, and I don't see them hitting a pitcher like Santana tonight on the road. Odalis Perez is 0-1(2 starts) against the twins this year with an era 10.61. He also has an era of 5.48 in 4 road starts with kc.Twins -1.5 seems like a strong play.

My record is 9-4 and if you don't know it, I only pick Twins games.

Hunter said he can't wait to play tonight to get toward the next goal of Division champs so I don't see wholesale line up changes.

I agree with Borat, KC is not only losing, they're getting their asses handed to them. They won't hit Santana and Gardy wants to help him, as do his teammates, win the Cy Young. He needs this one. On top of that, Detroit has Bonderman going and we want to keep pace if not catch them tonight.

Would you say that Detroit is a good play as well tonight? Both teams are fighting for the division and have their aces on the mound...:toast:

No I don't recommend laying either a high price on Detroit or the run line as Toronto could win outright.

The Twins against KC is a different story.

While Minny should beat KC handily, I don't expect Santana to go past the
6th inning. He's already wrapped up the Cy Young, so there's no reason for pitch him deep into the game or use their top relievers once he's done.
