pretty good day yesterday cashing most of the huge plays again, friggin cards keep lettin me down, those bums...may or not play them tonight, good spot for them but i'm VERY leary.
Someone argued with me on this board earlier this year saying Larussa was a great manager. I said he's not. His game time decisions are HORRIFIC. Look at last night and look at the last 2-3 months during the most critical stretch. The guy is a bum, he tries playing percentages and they backfire. He's only done well when he has GREAT talent and even then it's tough for him to win against the AL.
I think baseball has passed this bum by and I can't wait till he retires.
Anyway, sorry the rant, the cards have always been my #2 fave team behind the yankees.
Going to really start clamping down on plays now that it's the end, only looking at a few a day as most games are meaningless.
Only like a couple games today, and it starts with the early game.
I think the DBACKS are pissed about last night and want to win over the hapless giants in gonzo's farewell tour with them.
