Jason Mcdonald is from my town and some guys from my baseball team work with him. Looking forward to seeing the lines.

Cummo will be laying a sh1tload of money against Pointon. Petruzelli may be a live dog if the price is right, but I bet working with Tito has improved Hammill quite a bit. I'm not a huge Tito fan, but he does work well with younger fighters and gets them in shape.

Alves vs. Alessio may be the best fight on this card. It probably won't make the TV show since there are so many Ultimate Fighter guys on the card.

I hope to give some insight on this fight. I've been pumping my friends that know him for all the info I can get. I've been trolling this forum for a few months now, doing nothing but learning and taking in information. Finally feel like I might learn something worth posting.
Hope to post more in a couple of days.

Here is the information I have found on Jason McDonald. He is in insane physical condition. ( maybe that's why he has the nickname the Athlete?) He is a patient fighter and usually wins with these strengths in later rounds when his opponent tires or gets impatient and makes a miscue. He usually wins through submission. I think the biggest info I found was that thiswill be his first fight with UFC and is a tryout. If he wins, he gets a 3 fight contract with UFC for substantially more money than this tryout fight. Thus his motivation is huge. I see 5dimes has come out with a line on him at +245. I was hoping
it would be higher as he is relatively unknown and with my limited UFC capping skills I pegged him in the +150 to +200 range.
So..... maybe small value bet. I think I will put a small bet on him partly out of value but mostly out of entertainment. Damn!! I was hoping to give you RX'ers a nice little nugget.
Does anybody else know more about this fight?

Nice call Boots. I had a feeling he would be a live dog. This guy wasn't the usual tomato can with limited experience. MacDonald has beaten some established guys. I don't know what Dana and the bookers were thinking here.
