Got a message saying due to regulations of your country (USA) we are unable to accept your registration...

Did anything pass or go through that I'm unaware of?

I've never had this problem before and the first 2 poker sites I try to sign up at reject me...Of course these aren't any big sites, just a couple knock offs offering good bonuses but still...

Titan poker sent me my $2.15 back saying they no longer accept players from louisiana, washington and a few others.....there on IPoker network but none of the other sites have sent me anything.

One other Prima site that i heard about also rejecting all new customers from usa and not allowing reloads from present players..

My best guess would be these sites have owners who may want to frequent the usa from time to time and dont want to take any chances.

Not yet. Some rooms have taken the initiative and stopped accepting American accounts. Most of those rooms are affiliated with sportsbooks, so you can draw your own conclusions about whether they are simply reacting to the "detained executive" headlines.

The newest ones I've heard of are Littlewoods, Totalbet, and Willliam Hill, all Crypto sites. Off the top of my head, the entire B2B network, a few Tribeca sites, a couple of Prima rooms, and a couple of independants have also forbidden Americans from playing there.

I would recommend Party Poker. I've also heard good things about WPEX, but I haven't tried it myself.

The problem is not your country(at least not yet), but your state (Washington sucks if you gamble online)..... Gotta find a way to mask your IP. :103631605

Naw, I'm trying to sign up from Oregon, they said country both times. The first time i went to customer support because USA wasn't even listed as a country you could use. The rep said that they currently weren't letting people sign up from the USA.

wsex's rake free poker site wpex is exceptional. plus, every monday i get credited with my % of the rake. although i get more play at party poker from the sheer volume of players, i highly recommend wpex, plus it is tied in to your sportsbook account and the money you win in poker is available for your sports bets immediately...
