I have become somewhat of a Yankee fan recently because it has become so trendy to "HATE" the Yankees. The Yankees are getting good at the right time and have one of the more formidable lineups I have ever seen top to bottom... And thank God the Yanks have Wang... Who the hell is going to beat the Yankees this year?? Who?

Feeling really good about all the future bets I made on the Yankees....

O.K now come in here and tell me how you think the Twins,A's or Tigers are going to beat them in a series?

If the Yankees win the world series I will be thrilled..

i dont think its a "safe" bet at all....and for the life if me i dont see what the fascination is with the mets in the NL....pedro the great got CRUSHED tonight...

i think whomever ends up coming out of the NL will get stomped in the world series...i certainly wouldnt annoint the nyy the al pennant just yet however....

Yankees are the only team still playing seems to me. The other contenders are out to lunch thinking they can "get ready" for the playoffs like St. Louis. They should remain competitive at least because it's harder to pull that shit out on the spot after takin a break, although the Sox did it well last year. I agree though, nobody's pitching has anything for the Yanks.

If the Yankees rotation steps up they should cruise.

Wang is a combined 4-0 against DET/MIN with a 2.3ish ERA.

MOOSE + JOHNSON NEED TO STEP UP, if they do that it could be huge

Wright has been an ace lately, hopefully if they can get 5-6 solid innings like hes been doing they can releive him to Rivera.

It could work, but people need to step up.

i don't think they can step up and recently Wang is looking very ordinary. I think Minn getting 1 win from Bonser and 2 from Santana could beat them. Detroit not sure. Rogers has had a great year but his history vs Yankees is x rated. Oakland has a shot. Its anyones to win.

I placed a couple of units on the Twins awhile back......

I still think they may overtake Detroit for the Al central.

C'mon gynocologist, if these jerks happen to go that far, they won't have won the World Series, they will have bought the fuckin' World Series as they try to do each and every year. Gotta pull for the underdog when they play this monopoly team! :missingte :missingte :missingte

If it's really all about pitching, how do the Mets have the best record? Because they have a whole staff of aces? Because they can hit back to back grand slams, that's how.
