I say NO. It is World Series(just go, don't have to win it) or he is gone in New York. Not sure who he will be traded to but I think it will happen.

theres zero chance he will leave the Yankees

for one not to many teams will take his contract, but besides that

it would be an admission of failure that would haunt him forever

imo hes a Yankee forever or at least a long time now

i think he'll be back, as i think if the yankees fail in the postseason the blame will lie with the pitching, not the hitting...

As much as I hate to say it, can't see many teams with even a small chance to beat Yanks. Maybe Twins, maybe Mets.

I think he stays in Pinstripes regardless of the situation.

Although the Yankees are only on the hook for around $15 mill/season for Arod...not the full $25/$26 mill...thats still a pretty penny in today's market.

There's only a hand full of big market salary teams...and you can already count out a bunch of 'em, incl: Mets, Red Sox, etc.

The only logical team I can figure is the Angels...but a signing like Soriano makes more sense, considering the amount of infielder prospects they have & very limited OF depth.

If they go down today and he doesn't play well I say he is gone. Not fair (IMO) but just the way it works.

Who could afford him? NYY, NYM, Bos, LAA? Anyone else?

I'll take him in Detroit, if George eats about 10 million per year of his contract.

He can come play for the Braves anytime he wants.

To answer your question, there is a 0% chance of him leaving the Yankees for many reasons.

I wish everyone would quit blamming AROD for all the Yankees problems.

It even seems like ESPN is going out of their way to rag on Alex now.

I agree with Chop the Yankees are stuck with him whether they want him and his contract or not.

The poster child for why you don't sign a guy to a 10-year deal. The quarter billion dollar man would be an albatross to any team he goes to unless The Boss picks up much of his contract. I don't even know if anyone would be willing to pay $15 mil a year for him.

It all started with Torre playing the infield in, in the bottom of the 9th in Arizona when the Yankees blew that World Series and then when the red Sox became the first team ever to come back from 3 games down to none. Torre and the Yankees suck! ARod is just a symptom of the illness ! Lose Yankees. Yankees 0

Tigers Coming to bat.

As some of you mentioned I also think Arod will be a Yank for awhile. Of course he shouldn't be blamed for all the failure, BUT to get paid THAT much and NOT produce in the playoffs each year is a shame. And I'm a HUGE yankee fan since I was 10 yrs old. Arod just needs to step up his game no doubt.

You guys are unreal. AROD is one of the 3 best players in the game. Maybe even the best.

Anyone who thinks that hes the sole reason for the Yankees elimination just does not understand IMO.

I think the real problem is Brian Cashman. How in the hell does this guy still have a job? I can name you 25 huge bust and bad signings by this guy.

Hes the problem!

He assembled the best lineup since the 27 Yankees, or so many were saying. I doubt he deserves the blame, the players are there they are just choking as they have year after year since 2000. Still someone will get blamed inevitably after the way they looked in late summer.

yanks HAVE to get rid of him and if no one wants to trade for him the yanks should just cut the guy imo. he has killed this team in so many ways. And its a shame because i think he is a good guy that tries very hard.

Its not even close to the 27 Yankees. The main problem is the pitching.

You have to have balanced lineup to compete. You have to have someone besides Jeter willing to bunt the guy over to 2nd base. The Yankees have 6 cleanup hitters on there team. Sure that sounds nice, but that would be like a basketball team with 5 Micheal Jordans. No matter how good Jordan was, could you imagine him playing center.

The roles on this team is all messed up. And thats the fault of Cashman.
