Well it took longer than expected but Pedro appears to be on his last leg as a hard thrower.

I expected this to happen but much sooner...the NL playoff picture is wide open...I would favor Houston IF they can get in....

houston will plow through the NL if they made it. With that pitching staff there is no team that matches up

pedro GOOD DECISION

fwiw, if you really wanna see pedro extend his career...they (the mets) should seriously think hard about maybe converting him in to a closer...he doesnt have the arm to throw 7/8 innings anymore....

I don't think he can close. Seems to me he often has a rough 1st inning, then settles in and finds a groove.

He didnt have it in the 2003 ALCS either.
