Introducing The Rx.com and BetJamaica's "Pick Your Players" Hockey Contest!

It's simple!

Just choose one player from each group (below) to create your team. Each grouping consists of similarily-skilled players, making it easier for you to choose. Even if you don't know a thing about hockey, you can easily win!

After you've created your team, just sit back and watch your players amass points for you throughout the season. The more points you earn, the more money you can win! And with BetJamaica throwing in as much as an additional 25% of the total prize pool, you could win a LOT of money!

DETAILS:

Entry Fee: $50
• Each Person can have 2 entries.

Funds to be held at BetJamaica.com (account 9990):
• BetJamaica.com will automatically add 15% to the Prize Pool!
• If more than 10 entries BetJamaica.com will add 20% of total funds.
• If more than 20 entries BetJamaica.com will add 25% of total funds.

Pool will be tracked at officepools.com:
• Small admin fee for officepools.com will be paid by prize pool.
• The user name to view the pool is 'therx' the password is 'wilheim'. Please note it is all lower case. Registration is not necessary.

• Subject Line: 'RX 2006 Hockey Pool' (be exact),

• Body of the email MUST include:
i. Your Rx Posting Name
ii. Your BetJamaica Account number
iii. Request that $50 be taken out of your BetJamaica account number 'XXXX' and be transferred to the money holding account number #9990.

So you just do this once for the whole season, and that's it ? If so I'll do it.

Yes sir, Every morning you will be able to log in and see how many points your players got the night before.

You have the exact same team for the entire season, Other than that there is no work involved. There are no starting rosters, there are no trades, nothing like that.

You do not even have to register at officepools.com all you need is the user name and password.

You may want to consider fielding two teams in case one of your teams gets plagued by injuries.

I can fart away $100 bucks on that, just to help fill it, I'll probably let the wife or cat pick it. Maybe split it between cat/ wife ?

It's not worth researching the players, just pick anybody and take the slight overlay.

Seems a tiebreak might be needed ?

Thanks for setting this up Sportsavant. I don't think I'll take part though.

Is there going to be a betting contest like last year? Maybe something where we can bet a couple of times a week?
