look at expeida and obritz to get a price range of hotels in that time frame and then go directly to the hotel website to make the booking since 95% of the time it will be cheaper booking directly thru the hotel.

If you're wanting cheap stay off of the strip and take a cab to the strip.

I live here in Vegas and there really isn't any great deal on the strip. However I would recommend the Super 8 which is on Koval Lane just behind Ballys for the best price which is in a great location just off the strip. Telephone number is 702-733-8901. Not bad as it's located right next to Ellis Island which is a nice local place with a great $ 4.95 Steak Dinner with all the trimmings. It's not on the menu but just ask for their steak special served 24/7

cheapovegas is a great website as someone mentioned...

lasvegasadvisor.com is a good website with a forum like this strictly for vegas stuff...i read it regularly before i went out...speaking of which...i cant wait to go back....

if your looking for a good night out with friends/lady...i recommend MIX at the top of THEHOTEL at mandalay bay....

Download Travelaxe and plug in the dates you are going.
I use it all of the time.
