How do you take a screen shot?

are there any programs that can help you organize a bunch of screen shots?

ALT-Print Screen

Just paste them into Word or Wordpad...works like a charm.

Ctrl+Alt+PrtScr for current window only
Ctrl+PrtScr for entire screen shot

Lots of screen capture utilities to let you capture the area you want (built into Mac, actually)

Just started using Opera as my web browser. Interestingly, I can't do print screens via ctrl+prtsc like I used to. Works fine with other browsers. When I try to paste the image, I get some funny looking icon when Opera is the active window.
