It's none other than that prick Mike Carey....he wasthe guy in Detroit last year throwing flag after flag in what was he worst officiated game I ever say.

Already one holding on Balto on a quick pass at that.

I was hoping Phillip Rivers would get a dose of reality facing Baltimore's D, so far though he has been ok.

The best officials in the nfl are the ones that everyone doesnt know by name.

Mike Carey is a good official, but he brings too much attention to himself via over emphasizing signals and tone of voice changes when making critical calls...that gives appearance of being biased.

#108 works on line of scrimmage and is very solid...not sure where he is today.

#5 umpire (guy near linebackers) is also old-school and not afraid to jump in the pile to see who recovers fumbles.

The other black head referee in nfl is probably the worst head ref ive ever seen call a nfl game...he doesnt even speak correctly.

Same guy that was on college crews that blew many games.

I thought Carey was good at first, I never saw a more ridiculous display of over officiating in the game last year at Detroit....it was so obvious he was pissed off by his tone and that whole crew was all over Baltimore...if it would have been a street game the refs may have been beaten up, it was that bad.

Carey lost total control of that game.

Woof, interesting detailed notes you have on refs there....I doubt many would know the refs by their numbers!

Mike Carey is sharp, but I personally dont like it when a ref gets over animated when making calls.

Personally, I like Walt Coleman above all nfl head referees.

He has a strong Southern accent (doesnt bother me but some dont like it), and he doesnt get overly excited when giving the penalty report and thus never appears to be favoring any particular team.

Havent looked to see if hes still around, for I believe he retired last year, but blum #7 moved from head ref to line his last couple years. He was another total mobster and probably shouldnt have been in nfl for his calls were weak.

I agree , Walt Coleman...Also Ed Hochuli (sp)

Carey is still fairly new and he started out well but, he is too animated, I think he gets caught up in the emotion of the home crowd....I know what I saw in Detroit last year that was enough for me...

The Ravens weakness being exploited , no huddle has worked before vs Balto, Vinny and the Jets started this...I'm surprised more teams dont use it...no huddle and quick short passes that spread them out, plus it fits well with Rivers mechanics.

Really odd call...I don't care if he scored or not...WTF was that? plus you're sending a WR into the teeth of the D on what is basically a handoff...

think it's a fumble, I hope not though.
