get swept by kc, should never let that happen especially last nite with the miner debacle.... they are in serious trouble, they have their hands full now with the yanks.... i cant believe leyland after doing a masterful job this year had a complete meltdown this weekend....

Think Det was hoping KC was going to lay down. I give the Royals PROPS for playing hard. Tigers had sooo many chances it has to make them sick. If they can't beat the Royals 1 out of 3 at home--how can they beat Yanks 3 out of 5 as a visitor?? Glad to see the no-name hard working Twins win the Division.

Tigers just ran out of gas the last month. Remember this team won 43 games just three years ago and threw the kids in there. They were a leadoff hitter short. Twins have the exact team the Tigers have, just a little more experience.

as much as im pissed the royals swept them...they played the way the game is meant to be played...and i respect that...i posted in another thread...how i was on the phone with a buddy and telling him how det had them loaded with 1out...and jokingly i was like bro, this team is 61-100 they just want to get it over with...yet here comes the manager to take out their closer and bring in another reliever to try to get them out of the jam...they were playing like it was their season on the line...it woulda been so much easier just to throw it behind the backstop and call it a day...no they were making moves just to TRY to send it to the 12TH!!! on game 162...


det scored 21 runs in 3 games and got swept...nothing else needs to be said...cws did their part winning 2of3 on the road in meaningless games for them...if det cant win 1of3 at home vs kc they dont deserve to win...they would have won last night if they threw verlander b/c he wasnt giving up 7 in the top1st...simple as that...now they have to throw a rookie in game1 at NY...
