HOLY SH*T -- I hit 10 game parlay! 700-1

Before I write this post, let me start by saying i'm in no way attempting to prove anything or ask for congrats. I'm just expressing my joy and I have to thank THIS forum for my parlay hit! Since reading here a while and most recently joining, i've been on literal fire with mky plays. I've hit all my big straights and as I wrote last week, I loved Washington straight today -- took a hell of a ending but it came through. Hell, I even bet Grady Brewer last week and won that. I figured, i'm feeling good, let me go ahead and put a couple of big parlays in.


I did 2 with Betmania and 1 with BetGameday. Chose those two places because of the people on this forum. Betgameday was advertising 100% match play up to $200 for a $200 depo. Can't beat that. I decided on Betmania after doing hours of research and reading the opinions here. At any rate, here are the ten game parlays I put in.

1) New York Jets +9
2) Dallas Cowboys -9
3) Arizona Cardinals/Atl Falcons Over 40.5
4) St. Louis Rams -5.5 (miracle here)
5) Washington Redskins +3
6) Cleveland Browns - 2.5
7) Chicago Bears -3.5
8) Washington State +16.5
9) Michigan Wolverines -9
10) Washington U +3.5


I bet a MERE $10 and hit and racked up almost $6,800! To bet $10 and win damn near 7 grand is damn exciting. My last play the Bears -- definitely hoped for a great defensive performance and to blow Seattle out and that's exactly what happened. The same result would of occured with Alexander in there, and I put this parlay in prior to Seattle announcing he would not play.

I'm not greedy but I have to say i'm just a "tad" bit sick at one thing. I put one more parlay in as an 8 gamer for $45 on Betgameday and Betmania $45 to win about $7,500. I had the same first 7 teams in this 10 gamer, with the exception of removing Wazzu and inserting the Carolina Panthers -7.

It was a CRAZY game and Foster actually broke off a TD with about a minute left that had me up 11! I was hoping the Panters could get a turnover, however, as miraculous as it was Foster wasnt' tackled and the game wasn't ended on kneel downs, I got screwed over the same way I got up. N.O makes a long play downfield, receiver catches the ball (Horn I believe) not sure as I was steaming on the play -- and New Orleans gets a miraculous TD of their own.

If Carolina comes through, I woulda won 15k on those two 8 game parlays -- but I'm not pissed at all, because I caught equal breaks with St. Loius --who got a very late TD and if they didn't get the 2 point conversation I was screwed -- they GOT the 2 pt. conversion. There was some drama in that game late too -- pass interference called on St. Louis in the end zone with mere seconds left -- however, the ball was tipped and St. Louis came through and won the game by 7. The Redskins took care of me too. So although I could of bet $100 and won 22 grand, as sick as that is, I still have to realize I could of probably had Carolina in that 3rd parlay too -- however, that was only my 8th strongest game this week, so I replaced Carolina with Washington U, and Wazzu. Up 22 grand would be insane, but collecting 7k off of ten dollars certainly doesn't make me upset.

Anyway, I had to express my excitement with ups and downs -- I had to feel like that guy who had 100k riding on ASU. For the record, I loved Oregon in that game and couldn't believe he took ASU. He was clearly trying to take a home team favored by less then 3. Can't blame him as ASU beat the hell outta a couple of opponents at sun devil stadium.

I'm PUMPED and am goinna have a few more beers, I'm just curious though, has anyone else on here ever nailed down a 10 game parlay? Thanks once again "therx forums" hopefully I'll do it again next week!!! I'm feeling good right now!

@ ensign_lee, thank you and EXACTLY MY THOUGHTS! Now I have a proper bankroll. Betmania probably isn't too happy with that one, but 7k to them isn't anything. Dimeplayer, yeah man, lightning struck down my my SKULL with the Carolina game. I obviously knew with no Timeouts, New Orleans was SOL, and the Panthers would kneel down, I knew I needed a miracle and a TD on THAT play to have a chance. Highly unlikely, but it's happened plenty of times before, so it wasn't the first time i've seen that. But to have New Orleans backed up deep and give up a huge bomb for a TD directly after that -- damn, that was sick.

As I said though, the Rams game was crazy as hell and I caught at least 3 breaks late to lock that one up. Thanks once again. If anything, hopefully my post will allow some people to actually put in $10-$25 parlays, 7 to 10 games. At least the players that drop a buck or more per game, that shouldn't affect. The way I see it, I can drop $50 a week on parlays for the next 8 years of the entire football season, and i'd still be up a few hundred if I didn't hit again. What is there to lose? --ya know?

Actually, I wouldn't call the "Browns" a miracle. They were down 21-3, but they gave Oakland a couple of TD's, literally. They came back nicely and COMPLETELY dominated the 2nd half. Oakland didn't score a point in the 2nd half and didn't come CLOSE to scoring a point in the 2nd half. That's no miracle, it was just a nice comeback from getting down early.

Cleveland was my 2nd strongest game this week. I've been watching NFL football since i'm literally 5 and I can tell you I can't remember watching a TEAM worse then the Raiders. Not because they got blasted by San Diego and Baltimore (those were 2 very physical and talented teams) -- it's because they QUIT, they LAY DOWN, they don't play intense every down. Guys take many plays off on that team, and they're just a total joke. How the hell they'll win ONE game is beyond me -- that's why I took CLEV -2.5. The line DID go down to "pick em" shortly before kickoff. A lot of money going on the Raiders had me wondering HOW THE HELL that was possible, and I certainly would of loved to get CLEV as a EVEN, but as it was, they dominated the RAIDERS IN THE SECOND half and were up 24-21 for quite some time without a sweat.

Pig, lmao, yeah, 8 game parlays aren't my cup of tea huh? I'll stick to the tenners...lol.

That's great man, congrats. I think the largest parlay I ever hit was a 5-teamer. If I hit a 10-teamer I'd start throwing eggs at children, goddamn.

Awesome man, winning is a great feeling. I've been there, but just this weekend I've also been on the losing end. Lost 8 grand in 1 day.

2 years ago I nailed a 6 team NFL parlay on one Sunday which was reported later as the biggest loss to online sportsbooks EVER (THE ENTIRE DAY, NOT JUST MY BET FYI BUT EVERYONES). It was December of `04 maybe somebody can come up with the date.

Anyways, I won enough to put a down payment on a condo here in Winter Park, Florida.

Now I'm stuck paying the mortgage!!!! LOL!!!

thanks again fella's, I really appreciate it! Let me ask -- does this forum survive off of member's donations? If so, I will absolutely make a donation of at least $200. That's the least I can do, because i'm not kidding when I say if I didn't read here and join, I wouldn't of found betmania and I wouldn't of hit this parlay this weekend. I do see the forum and site support a variety of books so I'd think they do quite nicely with the sponsorship and promo's, but if it's standard for members to donate, then I'd be happy to do so.

I'm sorry to hear your streak man. We've all been there. I don't have the funds right now to bet like that, but I know a guy (acquantaince) not a friend, but an acquaintance who usually bets as much as 20 grand a game. The guy has money but he's been on some ridiculous highs and lows. Wish I had the money to not sweat those kinds of wagers. On your 6 gamer, i'm guessing you dropped at LEAST a dime on that play, huh? Yeah, that would be one hell of a payout. I'm obviously still pumped about the 10 gamer, but it's human nature not to think what could of been if New Orleans didn't get that Miracle, late TD. Again, I guess I could of just as easily gotten screwed with St. Louis or Washington, but when the Carolina game was finishing up, I still had 5 plays left to be decided in the parlay. Hit all three college games Saturday, hit Dallas, the Jets and the Over on the Ari/Atl game with the early games, so, at that point, I really started feeling REALLY damn good about my plays. I had 6 down, with 4 left in the ten gamer, and 6 down with 2 left in the 8 gamer. Chicago -3.5 was the final play in those 8 gamers, but basically when that Carolina play went down the tubes in sickening fashion, ...even if it had "hit" I knew I still had FOUR full plays left. After those three late games went in my favor (unlike Carolina) it came down to a one game play, Chicago for ~7k, plus my $10 back, or -$10 -- Talk about crazy -- I woulda litearlly went through the roof if I coulda turned $100 into 22k, but shit, we can't be greedy, right? Gotta be happy with what did hit.

With that being said, it woulda been damn nice if I put $45 on that 10 gamer and $10 on one of the other two 8 gamers...lol

This was a great weekend 4 me 2, lost only 2 gms Tulane & A&M (should have won). Not trying to steal your thunder just know how nice it is & the way Mon. is sunny. Now we have to exercise good MM this wk. When I`m hot be it craps, BJ or sports I like to press a bit, just within reason. Once again WAY TO GO!!!!!

oh, you're not taking my "thunder" at all. Glad to hear you had a nice weekend. That Tech/A&M game was crazy. Tech earned it though -- no bs call at the end they converted the 4th down on their own with a great pass and catch. Crazy game and glad to hear even with that misfortunte, you still did well.
