Will never happen. It takes a long time to print up the budget, which the port act is a part of. The Justice departmnet will be getting involved, I suspect.

A White House official said a date hadn't yet been set for the president to sign the measure. Bush is scheduled to leave Washington later Monday for a three-day campaign swing through four Western states. He is to return to the White House Wednesday.

See this thread, this is how it should be. What is the next battle on the War on Gambling? GDub signing it into law. Will he? Most likely, when, probably after he stumps for chumps. We signed this bill to protect our ports, and there is this gambling measure, nonrelated attached. So it got kicked from the defense bill because it was non related, but got attached to the port security because gamblers threaten ports? Frist is GDub's butt buddy. So convincing GDub not to sign it because of Frist and it is not realted is close to futile. We concede that battle and plan for the next one, after it is signed. Then every chump in the world is trying to get back to the talking and hrumphing. That is where you focus the bombardment. You jacked me on this issue. I vote no on you, your party, your supporters. I will take anything over you. I will vote one this single issue alone. Keep the updates coming.
