Online gambling faces its biggest crisis so far after the U.S. Congress passed legislation that would make it illegal for banks and credit card companies to make payments to online gambling sites in the United States.

Do you think a ban on Internet gambling is necessary?

No. Unless we ban gambling in casinos, I don't see why we should ban it online.

All those who have to travel now to gamble instead of playing on-line will increase are dependence on foreign oil as a lot more gas will be used. Of course, this might increase the support for banning on-line gaming from the Bush/Saud Royal family. More fuel used more money for them.

The question is ridiculous. It is not illegal for banks and credit card companies to make payments to online gambling sites in the United States. In fact those were the ones carved out under the horse, lotteries and Indian gaming exemptions.

It makes one wonder whether:

1. This is simply badly constructed English.

2. The writer hasn't a clue about the Act because they haven't read it.
