Here we go, it's playoff time and the dogs often bark. My plays for today are:

3* Oak +181
4* SD -117
5* NYY -1.5, -110
4* NYY over 9.5

Good luck

You suk, picking the evil empire and against santana at home (what about a year and half since he lost at home), Oakland says they would much rather play minnesota than detroit because of their pitching, Santana and then ?'s.

What does the view look like up your ass. Get your head out of there and start using your brain scarecrow. Have you been drinking too much again?

Northern Star,

I just call em like I see em and the Twins haven't scored a run before the 7th inning in what seems like a month. The hitters are in a slump and Johan has been prone to the HR which proved out today. Zito is a good pitcher, relys on his off speed, curve ball and I thought there was value in the play.

I have an empty feeling in my gut because they lost and I made money.

1-0 so far.

I suppose you think Jeter is the MVP and not Morneau too?

Morneau 321 average, 130 rbi, 34 hr, 375 obp, 559 slugging
Jeter 343 average, 97 rbi, 14 hr, 417 obp, 483 slugging

Even a Pitbull would take the porter house steak on the top over the
t-bone steak on the bottom.

I like Jeter as a player but his numbers are not better this year, it isn't a life time acheivement award, it is who is the most valueable player. Jeter's offensive numbers are not better and he is a middle of the road defensive player. He had much better offensive players batting behind him. Which should correlate to better offensive numbers because you can't pitch around him. Morneau had Jason Kuebel batting behind him for half the year. I don't even think he made the playoff roster for the Twins.

Twins win on wednesday, i was worried about a let down today. I would have rather they went to new york and play like they were expecting. Minnesota is better against right handers, best in majors. They bounce with Boof!

Pitbull,

I have to agree with NStar on the MVP only because without Morny, Cadeyer and Hunter don't produce and the Twins don't get in the playoffs, let alone win the division and finish 1 gm behind the Yanks for the best record in the American League.

Now on to gambling. I lose the SD play and as I stated dogs bark. I win the Yanks over, btw they will go over the total in almost every game this series without the help of Detroit. See KC scoring 8 runs in the final 3 gms of the year. Last time I checked KC's lineup is not made up of perennial All Stars.

Mags, as for Wednesday's game, get Minnesota -130 before it goes up. They will win tomorrow and most likely go under 9.

I have it as a 4* for now but it might move up as I analyze it further.

Star, Lunch sounds good, I'll call you.

Mags, I have to say the quiet Twins bats scare me, and as a result I like the under, especially with the way Bonser has pitched recently. I also think Loaiza has been awful in the dome over the years so that points to Minny. More tomorrow.
