I HATE the 5 game series

Shorten the regular season by a couple games if you have to, but make the divisional series 7 games a piece. You want the best teams to advance but really anything can happen in a 5 game series. I hate seeing a 100 win team come into the playoffs and run into a hot starting pitcher or 2 and go home after 4 games after playing 162 freakin regular season games.

The NBA had the same "mistake" years ago, they corrected it.

I actually liked it in the NBA

Only way we ever got to see the occasional upset

Well it use to be 5 with just two teams too, which never liked...you play 162 games and lose game 1 in a 5 gamer and your back is immediately against the wall.

One of the years '96 Cleveland was real good, the Orioles stunned them in 4 games...it was even worse back then because the WC team would play the team with the best record and get the first two games at home...there was no advantage for being the best team in that format IMO.
