manager of the year: leyland or gardenhire

Tough call here as both are deserving of the award.

Leyland comes in and for the first time in who knows how long, not only leads the Tigers to a winning record, but a playoff appearance and just short of a division. Best team in the league for much of the season.

Gardenhire had one of the most impressive runs and somehow someway grabs the divison on the last day after starting out the season like a joke.

I would have to say Leyland , even though all 3 are deserving, he took a team that's been dead for 15 years and made them a winner.

Girardi managed one of the greatest turnarounds in MLB history with rookies and no money. And a moronic owner. Best part was when he told him to sit down and STFU. Pretty much ended his career managing that team. There should be a line to hire him.
