I know Det has a bad record against the Yankees this season...but they have been playing pressure baseball for last few weeks, and Yanks have been in cruise control since clinching.

Correct me if im wrong but Mussina pitched a complete game allowing one earned vs. Det. this year back in June when they were hurting(and Tigers were hot). Verlander faced the Yankees and lasted about 5 inn giving up 6 earned in his only game facing them. Big lean here with the Yankees, seeing that they're a different team than back in June. YANKEES -1.5
