I missed the first 10 minutes but I TIVO'd the last 50, was it any good?

jumped around too much..

had some really true things in there, about high school football in the state of texas..

had some very predictable things as well......... star player getting hurt, soph QB coming in and winning the game...... racial controversy between fullback and taliback,,,, they will wind up best friends...

overall it was OK,,,,, ill probably watch it again..... maybe a B......

wow, did next weeks episode ever look crazy, missed the first half this week, but 2nd half wasnt bad. that slut cheated on her crippled boyfriend.

I dont mean to hijack but I cant believe they CBS cancelled Smith. I thought it was the best new fall tv show.

Friday Night Lights sucks.

Having said that, I'll continue to watch it.

I don't understand why they are going with the girlfriend/bestfriend of the hurt kid angle. That looked like a pretty emotional quality scene until they kissed and then it just looked very soap operaish.

I TiVo'ed it tonight and will watch it later, but it's a pretty crappy show and won't be around for very long.
The book was great, the movie was OK, the TV show is garbage.

I watched the first episode and it was okay. Just seemed to try and be too dramatic. I'll still watch it to give it another shot.

I watched Two-A-Days on MTV and that was much better.

It might not be on the air much longer. Sagging ratings and a desire by NBC to save money might cost this show. They're moving it next week to Monday at 10pm (during MNF) to see if a different time slot will help out the ratings. They'll show the same episode again the next day at it's reguarly scheduled time.
