I hear a lot of talk that the government will eventually legalize and regulate online gaming. Not gonna happen. Why? THE ARROGANCE OF THE US GOVERNMENT. To legalize and regulate it would be an admission of defeat by the government. It would be an admission that they could not stop it. I think we all know the mindset of the US government. Arrogant, pig-headed, unwilling to compromise. Disagree? Can you spell I-R-A-Q? The bravado and hubris of the US government will never allow them to capitulate in any way, and no matter how much sense it makes, and no matter how many comparisons to prohibition you make, this government will never stand for being viewed as backing down on anything. Like the old ad campaign, the US government would rather fight than switch, common sense be damned.
