Have any of you had any trouble placing a bet or depositing or withdrawing money?

Enough said.

When you have problems, post about them and then we all have a problem.

That being said, if problems do occur, I have given you a very easy fix with one day in Canada.

A much bigger problem for me than this bill is the fact that books are getting rid of teasers - this will hurt my bottom line. This bill will not, even if I have to open a few new bank accounts.

Thanks Guys. My varied background allows me to see things deeper and when it comes to regulation, I know how things work. I try to give everyone a reverse view of things in the end.

The benfit of my expierences are in huge play right now and I am happy to able to bring the insights I do.

In this particular vien, I have been thru this exact thing at the Dust during the crusade years. I was right at ground zero. If you read my stories from it, and compare to now, you will see no difference.

It was worse then, than it is now. When you work with the men themselves, and you see on a daily basis in the regular peole, the fear and panic on there faces, plus enduring a million questions, Writing to you guys about this stuff is easy.

Please do not forget Woody O. He has been just as invaluable and he has certainly sharpened my insight with his interpatation of things.

Thanks for listening.

All you`ve said in the past few wks is generaly true! However the big Q still exists, and no one has addressed it, like 365 what happens if say Oly & by extension BJ and WWTS decide not to fight but simply take no more U.S. business? Also IF that ocurs what happens to our balances??? Any opinions? I wish someone w/some juice would contact some of the CS people @ these books!!!

True, very likeable guy who knows quite a bit about many things

I was happy I got to meet him.

Excellent topic Dante, hopefully this can further dispell some of the doom and gloom some may be feeling.

I have contacted or have read that others have contacted:

Pinnacle - no change
Bowmans - no change and has own bank processor
5dimes - law is unenforceable, stupid, and tranactions are not coded.
Wagerweb - no change
Olympic (Jamaica) - I am too embarrassed to insult Spiro by asking.
Bodog - Will remain the top offshore company. No change.
WWTS - no change. Get a neteller account.

Not one book like 365, nine, etc that has closed down has not paid....

Sean and Sugarbear's stuff has been excellent. Bottom line is that no one knows *exactly* how this will play out but based on an objective analysis most of the scenarios just ain't that bad. The absolute worst case scenario is that I move out to Nevada, or down to Australia or up to Canada. Any "worst case scenario" that doesn't involve death or dismemberment is one I'm not going to lose a lot of sleep over.

Dante I have pretty much been saying the same things for years and see no reason to change now. People who want to gamble will put up with some extra hassle to do it. No laws are going to be passed which will stop this. Enough said.

RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman

Ken Mehlman has served as Chairman of the Republican National Committee since January 2005. When elected, he presented four goals for his term as Chairman: Enact and articulate our reform agenda; Deepen and broaden the GOP so we’re growing our party; Work to elect the best candidates in 2005, 2006 and 2008; and, Institutionalize the grassroots focus.
Before his election as Chairman, Mehlman served as campaign manager for Bush-Cheney ’04, where Michael Barone called him “the structural engineer who turned the plans into reality.” Mehlman served from 2001 to 2003 as White House Political Director. Charlie Cook said that under Mehlman’s watch, “the White House political office has reached the greatest prominence in this administration that it's ever had.”
Mehlman was National Field Director for Bush-Cheney 2000, where he worked with the campaign leadership in all fifty states and the Republican National Committee to execute winning political plans and mobilize strong grassroots.
Before joining President Bush, Mehlman was Congresswoman Kay Granger’s (TX-12) Chief of Staff and Congressman Lamar Smith’s (TX-21) Legislative Director. He practiced environmental law in Washington and assisted campaigns in Massachusetts, Ohio, Virginia, Texas, and Georgia, as well as the 1992 and 1996 Presidential campaigns.
Mehlman is a graduate of Harvard Law School and received his undergraduate degree from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He is a native of Baltimore, Maryland.

Emailed the guy just today....somehow I got on his mailing list and I get RNC plugs every day.....again, Dubya has shown that he's pretty immune to public opinion but it can't hurt. Maybe the potential loss of Congress is something that he'll understand...

Dubya does not need to understand shit. He does not care about gambling one way or the other.

The Repubs don't care either. They care about votes.

It can not hurt to let them know they are losing millions of votes.

WWTS/Betcorp are not going anywhere. In fact, they could get a lot bigger, along with a few other shops, in a hurry. DONT be surprised.
