Canbet no longer offers Teasers!

I was having a problem placing teaser bets in Canbet so I emailed them last night. This is horrible news. Here is their response:

Thank you for your email.

I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. However, I am afraid that a Management decision has been made to no longer accept Teaser Bets on US Sports.

Its no good. I guess I need to change books. I have been with canbet many years and I have never had problems but taking away teasers is no good for the betters:money8:

A blessing in disguise, I'd stick to straight bets and far away from parlays and teasers.

Think about what you just said. If teasers have been a cash cow from them, do you think they would no longer accept them? The reason they dont offer them anymore is probably because they have been getting there ass handed to them on teasers this year.

Did you know that every single NFL team that has been a 7 point favorite or more this season in the NFL is 27-0!!!!!!!!

That means that people who play 7 point 2 team teasers on favorites are undefeated this season.

It is obvious that they stopped offering teasers because they are losing money on them. I am so sick and tired of all of the fucking idiots that say that teasers are for suckers. I think NFL against the spread is for suckers.
I can pick winners and teasers take away the point spread or bring it down under 3 points with the favorites.

I will be moving my Canbet money to another book. I don't want to let them "get away" with this bullshit.

I think the guys that know what they are doing are just drubbing these books with teasers.

Not surprised Canbet gave up on them. You see some good books adjusting thier prices.

I did some research and am liking CRIS for teasers because they have the opening numbers early and you can tease for next weeks games college and pro. They are standard juice which is like 6 point -110 unless some other people can find better juice.

5dimes is probably the best book for teasers. Even with them shading the favorites you can get 2 team 6 pointers at +100 and 3 team 10 pointers at -110.

Word to the wise, make sure you tell 5 dimes that you want "vegas rules" on teasers. Otherwise a tie and a loss is a loss.

I know basic strategy is cross the 3 and 7.

This is a short term data group for this year and results don't take precedence over process in my mind...let me ask you this, do you think books want parlay/teaser players or straight bettors (if they had to choose one)?

in nfl u want parlay and straight bettors teasers have been pretty bad now for about 5 years...... this year on track to be as bad as last year books will start changing rules or some will drop them as canbet did

The offshores should do what Vegas had to do in 92. No more 2 team teasers and limit them to no more than 200 a pop.

You guys may not like that, but its responsible bookmaking.

The inmates do not run the asylum all the time out there.

teasers in the NFL are rock solid more weeks then not, but the week they aren't, if you go bananas doubling up, you'll get scarred, gotta stay disciplined. The Colts were 18 points Favorites and barely escaped with a win. Teasing that even with a 13 pointer, you're dead. And can you argue with most teasing the Colts to 5.5? Hell, with the Titans getting throttled vs. Dallas and San Diego 30+ pt losses, 5.5 with Indy at home seemed like a gimme. I bet a lot of ppl got screwed with teasing that game....there have also been some miracles early on for some of those 7+ pt favs. Teasing is still rock solid for NFL games though -- no doubt.

27-0 straight up is what he means. So you find teams that you can tease down to less than 3 (less than 1 to be perfect) and you will win.

Yes, find a couple of 7 pt favorites and tease them to a PK. Chop is saying this hasn't lost all year. Not sure if thats true or not, but sounds about right.

For example yesterday you could take Jags PK and Panthers -.5 on a 7 pt teaser. Easy money.
