Who else will be putting their house, life savings, first born children and taking out loans to put even more money on the A's? Is there even a reasonable shot at the Twins going into Oakland and winning? I say they are deflated and want the season over with. I'd be surprised if they score a run the next game.

Well being an A's fan I can tell you we have been in this position before. I had a good feeling the A's would win this game but played the under instead. Just keep in mind that we have been up 2-0 before only to lose in 5 games our last 5 playoff appearances. However I wouldnt bet against the A's, this is a totally different team only chavez and Zito return from those rosters. Minny still has a chance, they will always have a chance with santana looming in game 4 or 5, but they have to get there first, which begs the question are they deflated or are they going to come back fighting in oakland. Eithor way I wouldnt touch a bet on oakland or Twins to win the series with a 10 foot pole.

I'm aware of the A's past. Thank you guys for your input, but I look at this entirely different. I am not so much betting on the A's as I am better against the Twins. I can't see them having any spirit left after losing two straight at home against their two main pitchers. I'm going to be going fairly heavy on the A's to close it out.

wow as a twins fan I love to see this kind of view point, gives me hope!!

All year long the twins have been unpredictable, including the 1st 2 games of this series. Now when everyone is counting the twins out I can see them for sure winning the next game and probably coming close in game 4 (maybe only close because rich harden is a stud)
