"Proponents of the [Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act] heralded its passage as a victory for family values and a blow against an addictive vice. Jim Leach, the Iowa Republican who sponsored the bill, said it will prevent casinos from further extending their corruptive reach. "Religious leaders of all denominations and faiths are seeing gambling problems erode family values," Leach said in a statement. "If Congress had not acted, gamblers would soon be able to place bets not just from home computers, but from their cell phones while they drive home from work or their BlackBerries as they wait in line at the movies.'" I don't know of one vice that ever corrupted anyone. I think you have to have the weakness already inherent in order for it to affect you. In other words, I don't believe someone who is a good father or good husband stops being that way because of a vice. I believe many bad fathers/husbands adopt vices but the problems are already there. The vice is just an excuse.

Besides, if the government is so concerned about gambling they would do away with state lotteries. But these whores have their hands out for the same thing they are criticizing.

Hey if I want to stand in line and use my Blackberry to place bets does that make me a bad person.
