This is just a play I'm making for a small wager. I think this series is going to be really high scoring but this game stands out.
Verlander has a harder time with left handed batters and the Yankees lineup is loaded with them. Starting with Damon and then Abreu, Giambi, Matsui, Posada, Cano.... If the last game was over 9.5, I look for this one to go over that mark as well.
Even if Mussina has a good game the total being high is still probable imo.
This is just a small wager though because playoff baseball always does have a tendency to be lower so I'm not getting too carried away.
